  • Sweet and smoky, this Maple Leaf Cocktail combines bourbon, maple syrup, fresh citrus, our Rustic Oak Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Cocktail Mixer and Aromatic Bitters for a rich and balanced sip. Notes of oak, citrus and caramelized maple are finished with crisp maple glazed bacon. This cozy cocktail is inspired by maple sugaring season and perfect for a relaxing evening.

    INGREDIENTS:

    For the Maple Glazed Bacon:

    1. Thick-cut bacon strips
    2. Maple syrup

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. To make the maple glazed bacon, pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. And place bacon strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook for 15 minutes, brush with maple syrup, flip the bacon, brush other side with maple syrup and return to the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes depending on crispness desired.
    2. To make the cocktail, add the bourbon, maple syrup, lemon juice, Barrel Aged mixer, and aromatic bitters to a cocktail shaker.
    3. Fill with ice and shake well.
    4. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with the maple glazed bacon.
