The oak-aged orange bitters and spice of our mixer pairs beautifully with brandy, Cointreau and lemon juice for a cocktail that’s both bright and warming. We added an orange sugared rim for a sweet, sparkling finish.

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 oz. Brandy XS
- 1 oz. Lemon juice
- ½ oz. Rustic Oak Orange Old Fashioned Cocktail Mixer
- ½ oz. Cointreau
- Sugar for rimming
- Orange zest for rimming
- Orange peel for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
- To make an orange sugared rim, place a little granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Add a teaspoon of orange zest and mix thoroughly. Run the edge of a cut lemon or orange along the edge of a cocktail glass and dip into the orange sugar. Refrigerate for a few minutes to set.
- Add the brandy, lemon juice, orange mixer and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake well.
- Pour into the prepared glass and garnish with a slice of orange peel.
